About us
The Consortium for Intersectional Justice is an international expert body that specializes in the promotion of democracy and business and human rights.
We work on these areas of expertise with a focus on intersectional justice, addressing deep-seated inequities, discriminatory practices, and glass ceilings. Moving away from conventional non-profit sector work templates, centring identity politics, and other established practices tht are no longer effective, our work instead prioritizes a more holistic and in-depth decolonial feminist lens. This especially involves being intentional about (re)imagining - in a Ruha Benjamin sense - a different world, ways of doing and ways of being. This decolonial feminist worldmaking project calls for a multi-layered approach that centres marginalized communities and realities often left out of support networks, international aid programs, dialogues and platforms, a preparedness to engage constructively across political divides, work towards meaningful representation and change that surpasses narrow discourses on identity politics and compartmentalized approaches to human rights.
As an expert body, all our hands-on global work is grounded in strong epistemological and ontological foundations, and likewise, our knowledge production initiatives are strongly informed and guided by our hands-on global work.
